Good news for fans of shooters - the Halo MCC Custom Game Browser is now in testing.
If you try to use matchmaking while EAC is disabled, you’ll get an error that says “Anti-Cheat Incident: You cannot matchmake because Easy Anti-Cheat isn’t enabled.” What happened to Halo MCC custom browser? There are several important things to consider when playing MCC with EAC disabled: You cannot use the matchmaking features to find a game. Modding in the Halo series can be done across all games on PC and Xbox 360 platforms, with the caveat of not being connected to Xbox Live.
Because modding is often used for cheating, it is not allowed on Xbox Live and the use of a modded Xbox on Xbox Live will result in a terminated account.
